- Hi everyone! My name is Amy, I’m 29, and I live in Los Angeles, California with my wonderful man Kevin. I have a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. My entire life, I have a passion for helping others, writing, and cooking. Recently I have become very devoted to health, fitness, and my own overall personal wellness. For the past 10 years I deeply struggled with both my physical and mental health in forms of depression, addiction, eating issues, and other disorders. “Pickin Up the Pieces” is my personal journey and how I have overcome an immense amount of obstacles and gotten myself through. Now that I am about to turn 30, I feel stronger, healthier, and more beautiful than ever. Even when you hit rock bottom, I am proof that it is possible to pick up the pieces and start over. It is my goal that with my past experiences and my counseling education, I may help others with their personal struggles, passing along my ideals of healing, health, happiness, and hope.
